Anse Mitan is a coastal neighborhood and beach on the Pointe du Bout peninsula in Les Trois-Îlets, on the Caribbean side of Martinique. The beach curves gently along Fort-de-France Bay, with pale sand, calm coastal waters, and views across the bay toward Fort-de-France and the Pitons du Carbet. Unlike more secluded beaches on the island, Anse Mitan is closely integrated with the surrounding resort area, with hotels, restaurants, shops, and water-sports facilities along the shoreline.
Bamberg, located in northern Bavaria, stands out for its remarkably preserved medieval layout, which earned it a spot on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Built on seven hills and often compared to Rome for that reason, the city’s architecture reflects over a thousand years of uninterrupted development. Bamberg is well known for its beer, and not just in the usual Bavarian sense. The city has more breweries per capita than any other town in Germany, and it’s the birthplace of rauchbier.
Cradle Mountain, located within the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, is one of Australia's most distinctive landscapes. Towering over Dove Lake, the craggy peak rises to 1,545 meters and is often dusted with snow, even in spring. The mountain and surrounding area are part of Cradle Mountain–Lake St Clair National Park, which was established in 1922 and has since become a cornerstone of Tasmania’s protected wildlands.
Lewiston and Clarkston are located at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers at an elevation of 738 feet above sea level. The valley is rather narrow with a range of hills to the North sloping abruptly to about 2,000 feet above the valley floor.
Copper Canyon is actually not a single canyon, but rather a series of more than 20 canyons running through the northern region of Mexico. The canyon covers over 20,000 square miles and is four times larger than the Grand Canyon in the United States.
The scenery is breathtaking, the railroad line through the mountains impressive; and you will have a chance to see and learn something about the unassimilated Tarahumara Indians who live in the canyon.
