Biloxi is the oldest French settlement in the Mississippi Valley. The word "Biloxi" is Indian, and means "First People." Since the discovery, Biloxi has served under eight flags -- French, English, Spanish, West Florida Republic, Mississippi Magnolia, Confederate States, Mississippi State, and the United States.
Ampefy is a highland town in central Madagascar, situated in the Itasy region west of Antananarivo. Lagoa do Fogo is a volcanic crater lake on São Miguel Island in Portugal’s Azores archipelago. Set within a protected landscape in the island’s central highlands, the lake occupies a large caldera surrounded by steep slopes covered with native vegetation. Its remote setting and undeveloped shoreline distinguish it from the more settled areas of São Miguel.
