Baja California Sur is state located in Northwestern Mexico, on the Baja California peninsula. The capital is La Paz. The area is lightly populated. Tourism is the economic mainstay of this region, centered around the beach resort area, Los Cabos. Sport fishing is a major attraction, as well as having some of the best beaches Baja has to offer.

This is a wild and beautiful area unlike anywhere else in the world. Torres del Paine lies between the central spine of the Andes, nearly buried under a massive ice cap and the steppes of Southern Patagonia.

Tayrona National Natural Park, located on Colombia’s northern Caribbean coast, is where the Sierra Nevada mountains plunge into the sea, creating a landscape of wild beaches, dense rainforest, and ancient archaeological sites. Just an hour from Santa Marta, this protected area stretches over 150 square kilometers of land and marine territory. Its coastline is dotted with hidden coves, palm-fringed bays, and massive boulders sculpted by wind and time.

The Isle of Skye is said to be the ancient island were warriors of the famed Red Branch of Irish mythology trained.

Baddeck sits along the calm waters of the Bras d’Or Lake on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia, a village with deep roots and stories to tell. Its name comes from an Indigenous word thought to mean “place with an island near,” a nod to nearby Kidston Island and the long history of the Mi’kmaq people in the area. A highlight for many visitors is the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, where the legacy of one of history’s most inventive minds comes alive.
