The largest virgin tract of rainforest in Australia (and the second largest in the world), this lush, tropical World Heritage area is a living testimonial to the ancient rainforests which once covered the earth's surface. Cool forest streams, primitive rainforests, stunning mountain scenery and abundant wildlife - a naturalists and bird watchers paradise.

Hwange National Park, located in western Zimbabwe, is the country’s largest protected area and one of Africa’s premier wildlife reserves. Covering more than 14,600 square kilometers, it is renowned for its extraordinary diversity of animals and habitats.

The Cayman Islands, a trio of tropical gems in the western Caribbean, are renowned for their crystalline waters, coral reefs, and relaxed island lifestyle. Grand Cayman, the largest, is home to the famous Seven Mile Beach, a stretch of soft white sand fringed by turquoise seas.

Puerto Peñasco, also known as Rocky Point, rests along the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez in northern Sonora, Mexico. Along its shoreline, Sandy Beach draws visitors with long stretches of walkable sand and calm water, while Playa Hermosa and Playa Mirador offer quieter spots where tide pools appear as the sea pulls back. Boat rides to Bird Island, also known as Isla San Jorge, provide a rare chance to see large colonies of sea lions resting on rocky ledges.

Although not accessible by road, it is Peru's most important commerical center in the east. It is on the Amazon which is wide enough to allow freighters at their busy port. The 1880's saw the rubber boom and recently oil has been the boom.
