Cong is a small village in western Ireland, set where the River Cong flows between Lough Corrib and Lough Mask. Its history is closely tied to monastic settlement, most notably Cong Abbey, founded in the 12th century and later shaped by Norman influence.

Iguassu Falls, straddling the border between Brazil and Argentina, is a breathtaking natural wonder that captivates visitors with its sheer scale and beauty. This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts the largest waterfall system in the world, with nearly 275 individual falls cascading over a rugged landscape.

Heron Island is a true coral cay right on the Great Barrier Reef. Here you can swim straight off the beach to an endless garden of coral where the waters are literally teeming with beautifully coloured fish and marine life.

Brasília may be a World Heritage Site, but it is only of interest to town planning and architecture students, and those keen to witness the folly of man on a metropolitan scale. It must have looked good on paper, and still looks good in photos, but in the flesh, forget it. Designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer, urban planner Lucio Costa, and landscape architect Burle Marx, the city was built in an incredible three years between 1957 and 1960.

Located in northwest England, Birmingham has a tremendous history as an industrial city. Close to coal and iron ore supplies, it was here that Bouton and Watt harnessed steam power to run machinery. The Museum of Science and Industry resides here and provides an excellent look at England's history.
