Volcanoes National Park, in northwestern Rwanda, is a place where dramatic volcanic landscapes meet extraordinary wildlife encounters. Stretching across the Virunga Mountains, the park is dominated by five towering volcanoes whose slopes are cloaked in rainforest and bamboo.

Located in the Burgundy Region of France, Beaune has the most prestigious vineyards in the country. This is the place to be if the words "grand cru" make your mouth water. Add to this the great gastronomique specialties of the region, gothic cathedrals, medieval villages and golden landscapes and you have many great reasons to get to know this province.

Whether you are into skiing and snowboarding, jet boating, whitewater rafting, bungy jumping, or mountain biking there is no end to the year around adventure sports you can take advantage of. If you love wine, Queenstown lies close to the center of a small wine producing region, including The Two Paddocks vineyard which is owned by actor Sam Neill. If you're a movie buff, Queenstown and the surrounding area were used in the filming of The Lord of the Rings film trilogy.
