Barcelona is the capital of Anzoátegui state in northeastern Venezuela, situated a short distance inland from the Caribbean coast and connected closely with neighboring Puerto La Cruz.
Hambantota is a coastal city in Sri Lanka’s Southern Province, set along a dry, sunlit stretch of the island’s southeastern coast. The Lemaire Channel is a spectacular sight with enormous sheer cliffs falling straight into the sea. It's a narrow channel flanked by the Antarctic Peninsula on one side and Booth Island on the other. So photogenic is the channel that it's nicknamed 'Kodak Gap', and it's only once you're well within it that a way through is visible.
The commercial and cultural center for the Ruhr region on the Rhine River, Duseldorff is also the site of the Felderhof Cave where Neanderthal man was found in 1856.
