Amelia Island is a barrier island on Florida’s northeast coast, located near the Georgia state line and about 30 minutes north of Jacksonville. The island stretches roughly 13 miles and combines Atlantic beaches, salt marshes, maritime forests, and the historic port community of Fernandina Beach. Jena is surrounded by limestone slopes about 400 m high, botanical and geological features ,amongst which are 40 types of orchids. Jena is also famous for the Optical Museum.

Akwidaa is a small coastal settlement in Ghana’s Western Region, located where the Atlantic Ocean meets a landscape of sandy beaches, lagoons, wetlands, and tropical vegetation. The village lies near the mouth of the Tano River and close to Cape Three Points, Ghana’s westernmost coastal area. Its surroundings remain relatively rural, with fishing and small-scale farming forming important parts of local life.

On the east coast of North Island, Napier is considered the "Art Deco capital" of New Zealand and the gateway to the Hawke's Bay wine region, whose popular varietals include pinot gris and syrah.
