Carriacou, the largest of Grenada’s sister islands, offers a slower pace of life and an intimate window into traditional Caribbean culture. Known as the “Island of Reefs,” it is surrounded by vibrant coral systems that have long supported fishing and sailing traditions.

Nampula is the largest city in northern Mozambique and the capital of Nampula Province. Set inland on a plateau, it is surrounded by rounded granite hills and distinctive rocky outcrops that rise above the surrounding farmland.

Lijiang sits in northwest Yunnan, shaped by its role as a trading town on routes linking Tibet, Sichuan, and Southeast Asia. It is closely associated with the Naxi people, whose language, music, and traditions remain central to local identity.

A series of gates surrounds the two centers of ancient, medieval Fez (sometimes spelled Fes). The principal axes link the center to the gates and a street surrounds the heart of the old city. The Kairouan quarter, which is longer, is crossed by an artery. Narrow, tortuous pedestrian streets, covered passages, stairs and numerous dead-ends make up the dense layout with few urban squares.

Arnhem has strong ties to Dutch fashion and design, thanks to ArtEZ University of the Arts. Graduates from its fashion department have gone on to international acclaim, and their influence is visible in boutiques and creative spaces throughout the Modekwartier (Fashion Quarter). This district features workshops, studios, and cafes where visitors can meet designers and even purchase one-of-a-kind pieces made on-site.
