A most pleasant and picturesque county, famed for its scenic beauty. Bordered by the Blackstairs Mountains and Mount Leinster, the county is divided by the rivers Barrow and Slaney. There are many historical monuments and castles. Recreations include Golf, Tennis, Fishing, Shooting, Rowing, River Cruising, Swimming, Hunting and Climbing.

Nevis, the smaller of the two islands in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, is often described as the more tranquil and unspoiled counterpart to its sister island. Dominated by the graceful silhouette of Nevis Peak, a dormant volcano rising to 985 meters, the island is ringed by golden beaches and lush hillsides.

Durmitor National Park is found in the Dinaric Alps, located in northwestern Montenegro. Along the Tara River Canyon, one of the deepest in Europe, Durmitor features nearly 50 limestone peaks interspersed with clear glacial lakes and deep pine forests.

Prince William Sound and Resurrection Bay are premier ecosystems with a diversity of wildlife and habitat. Enclosed by high mountains and glaciers, and protected from the high seas by barrier islands, the area is a boater’s paradise. Fiords, bays, coves, lakes, glaciers, mountains and hundreds of islands provide a rich and unspoiled beauty.

An industrial center and the island's chief Caribbean port. Tourism, sugar refining, and distilling are important. Founded in the early 16th century, it is one of the oldest cities in the Americas.
