The Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda stands as a testament to the island's maritime history and naval heritage. Located at the western tip of Bermuda, this historic site was once a major naval base for the British Royal Navy and is now a thriving hub of culture, history, and tourism. The Dockyard's impressive buildings, including the Commissioner's House and the historic fortifications, offer a glimpse into Bermuda's naval past.

Periyar is a forested highland destination in Kerala’s Idukki district, centered on the Periyar Tiger Reserve and the town of Thekkady. Set within the Western Ghats, the region combines wooded hills, evergreen forests, grasslands, streams, and the large Periyar Lake. The tiger reserve covers about 925 square kilometres and supports an extensive range of wildlife. Its landscape is particularly associated with Asian elephants, Bengal tigers, gaur, sambar deer, wild dogs, and rich birdlife.

Trabzon was founded in the 7th century B.C. by Milletain colonists. On entering the city, on a green hill descending to the sea, is a well-preserved 13th century Byzantine church, now the Avasofya Museum. The walls of this church are decorated with frescoes, some of the finest examples of Byzantine craftmanship. The higher part of the city, the old quarter, inside the still extant fortifications with its timber houses, should be visited.
