Located approximately 50 miles west of Chester, along the northern Welsh coast, is the beautiful small town of Conwy. In 1283, King Edward I set out to build a series of magnificent castles, of which Conwy was one of the largest. In addition, the town was fortified with walls which still exist today, making this one of the finest surviving fortified medieval towns in the world.

From the Caribbean Sea on one side to the Pacific Ocean on the other, Central America is home to lush rainforests, volcanic peaks, and vibrant coastal towns.

In the newer area you will find excellent hotels, chic shops, and good restaurants. Near the old downtown commercial center, behind the Catedral Metropolitana, and a block off Central Park, the Central Market where everything made or produced in the country is sold.

Lijiang sits in northwest Yunnan, shaped by its role as a trading town on routes linking Tibet, Sichuan, and Southeast Asia. It is closely associated with the Naxi people, whose language, music, and traditions remain central to local identity.

Its legacy as the former imperial capital of Vietnam is just one of many reasons to visit Hue. For more than a century, the emperors of the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945) ruled from the Forbidden Purple City, the innermost enclosure of the citadel. Today, this complex is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site and draws millions of visitors each year.
