Jordan River is a small coastal community on the southwestern coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, where the Jordan River reaches the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Dense coniferous forest surrounds the settlement, while rocky beaches and exposed coastline face the open waters of the strait.

At the heart of this tiny village is the 12th-century St. Davids Cathedral. And, beside it lie the ruins of the bishop's Palace. Walk the coastal path and visit the popular Oceanarium.

Ampefy is a highland town in central Madagascar, situated in the Itasy region west of Antananarivo. The area is known for its volcanic landscape, with Lake Itasy forming the center of a region shaped by ancient eruptions. Rolling hills, fertile farmland, volcanic cones, and streams surround the lake, creating a landscape that differs from Madagascar’s drier western and southern regions.

Lake Toba is another of the island's spectacular sights - a remarkable volcanic crater set in the middle of northern Sumatra, 176km from Medan. The lake is huge (the largest in South-East Asia), occupying the caldera of a giant volcano that collapsed on itself after a massive eruption some 100,000 years ago.

King's Wharf is the largest and most active port in Bermuda, with a high volume of cruise ship and ferry traffic. Shopping, restaurants and museums are close by.
