This is a city one could get lost in for days, exploring the old Ming Dynasty walls and wandering through its superb museum. If time permits, you should also take a walk through Linggu Park, home of the Linggu Pagoda and other items of Buddhist interest. Lake Mburo National Park is a protected area in southwestern Uganda, situated between Kampala and the western highlands. It is centered on a chain of lakes and a landscape of rolling hills, open grassland, woodland, wetlands, and rocky outcrops. Lake Mburo is the largest of the park’s lakes and forms an important part of its ecosystem.

Along the banks of the Moselle River, Cochem is a charming village known for Reichsburg castle as well as its old town, with its half-timbered houses.
