From the rugged highlands and volcanic plateaus to the lowland deserts and the Great Rift Valley, Ethiopia's terrain is as varied as it is dramatic.

Lac Abbe, straddling the border between Djibouti and Ethiopia, is one of East Africa’s most otherworldly landscapes.

The coastline of this mountainous island is dotted with chapels, olive trees, vineyards and small exotic coves.

There is a whole host of wildlife on Moreton Island which you can see on the numerous beaches, and along the walking and 4WD trails. Many wading birds can be found on the island, in particular between September and April when many birds migrate from other countries. You may also be lucky enough to see Green and Loggerhead Turtles which often nest between November - February.

Osaka is a city that thrives on contrasts with centuries-old castles sit just blocks from neon-lit arcades and high-speed trains. Once known as “Japan’s kitchen” during the Edo period, Osaka played a key role in rice trading and food distribution across the country. Today, visitors can walk the grounds of Osaka Castle, originally built in the 16th century by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and take in panoramic city views from the top floor of its museum.
