Guadeloupe's major center is Pointe-à-Pitre, a conglomeration of old and new buildings clustered around the bustling harborside market. Pointe-a-Pitre is Gudeloupe's most popular city--explore the beaches of Grand-Terre and the French fort ruins and volcanic mountaintop of Basse-Terre.

In the newer area you will find excellent hotels, chic shops, and good restaurants. Near the old downtown commercial center, behind the Catedral Metropolitana, and a block off Central Park, the Central Market where everything made or produced in the country is sold.

El Tunco is a small coastal village in the department of La Libertad, on El Salvador's central Pacific coast. It is named for the distinctive rock formation that sits offshore and is often described as resembling a pig, giving the beach its local name. The shoreline consists of dark volcanic sand, rocky outcrops, and strong Pacific surf, while low hills and tropical vegetation surround the village.

Komodo Island is famous for its Komodo dragons, the largest lizards in the world. These remarkable creatures, which can grow up to 10 feet long, roam freely on the island, offering visitors a rare chance to watch them in their natural environment.

Arctic Bay is a small Inuit community on the northern coast of Baffin Island in Nunavut, situated beside Adams Sound in a landscape of mountains, sea ice, tundra, and rocky shoreline.
