Jayapura is a part of Irian Jaya and shares a landmass with Papua New Guinea and it's peoples culture is very similar to the Papuans. From snow capped mountains to jungles, from swamps to glaciers there is much to explore in this less traveled, diverse region.

Ancient capital of Brittany, it was nearly destroyed by fire in 1720. Today it is known as an intellectural center with its famous Rennes University.

Zaragoza stands on the banks of the Ebro River in northeastern Spain and serves as the capital of the Aragón region. The city is known for its mix of Roman remains, Islamic influences, Mudéjar architecture, and large Baroque landmarks.

Karpathos is marked by the peculiar Karpathian houses, built of carved stone, full of embroidery and characteristic interior decorations. From Pigadia you may visit Kyra Panagia, a picturesque bay with a marvelous beach and a monastery of the same name. A little further, on the northern promontory of Karpathos, lies the Diafani village; on the nearby little island of Saria we see Palatia, with ruins of the ancient city of Nisyros.

Dikili leads the way to the ancient city of Pergamum, also known as Bergma. This city thrived under the Romans from the 2nd century BC to the 2nd century AD. One of the most fascinating aspects of the ancient site is the medical complex, Asklepieon, where advanced psychological treatments were practiced.
