Daphne Major is a small volcanic island in the Galápagos archipelago of Ecuador, located northwest of Santa Cruz Island. It rises steeply from the ocean, forming a crater-like shape with cliffs surrounding much of its coastline.

It is located 46 km from the city of Oaxaca. Mitla is famous because of its important archaeological zone, which has extraordinary constructions and a museum where valuable pieces of the Zapoteca culture are exhibited.
