Texel is the largest of the Dutch Wadden Islands, located off the northern coast of the Netherlands and separated from the mainland by the Marsdiep Strait. Its landscape combines broad sandy beaches, coastal dunes, salt marshes, grasslands, polders, and small villages. Den Burg is the island’s main settlement, while De Koog is the principal seaside resort.
Thunder Bay is a city on the northwestern shore of Lake Superior, where the Kaministiquia River reaches one of the world's largest freshwater lakes. Surrounded by forests, rocky hills, and broad water views, it serves as a regional centre for transportation, education, industry, and services across Northwestern Ontario.

The Central Suriname Nature Reserve, one of the largest rainforest sanctuaries on Earth, shelters jaguars, giant river otters, and hundreds of bird species. Nearer the capital, Brownsberg Nature Park offers forest trails and waterfalls amid 1,450 plant and 350 bird species, just a short drive from Paramaribo.
The Makena area has one of the most beautiful shorelines in South Maui, it is also home to a world class golf course and some of the major resorts on Maui. Makena is also adjacent to one of the more remote areas of Maui, the La Perouse Bay are, the end of the road for the South side.
