Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, national park in the Northern Territory, Australia, in the arid center of the continent, southwest of Alice Springs. The area was established as Ayers Rock/Mount Olga National Park in 1958 and renamed Uluru National Park in 1977.

Canyonlands National Park, located in southeastern Utah, offers an awe-inspiring landscape of deep canyons, rugged mesas, and striking rock formations. This vast park is divided into four districts: Island in the Sky, the Needles, the Maze, and the Rivers. Each district showcases its own unique geological features and breathtaking vistas. The Island in the Sky district provides panoramic views from its high mesa, including breathtaking vistas of the Colorado and Green Rivers.

Wuxi is an industrial and resort city located along the Da Yunha (Grand Canal). Settled some 3,000 years ago, it has long been known for its silk production. Today, Wuxi is still known for its silk industry, which has been revitalized since 1949, as well as for its high technology industries. It is also the center of a rich agricultural area.

While an earthquake in 1972 left few buildings intact in downtown Managua, new areas are building up. Managua has excellent restaurants, nice hotels, and is a good base for day tours into the countryside.

Albany is a small town in Carroll County, New Hampshire, located at the southern edge of the White Mountains. Much of the town lies within the White Mountain National Forest, giving Albany a predominantly forested landscape of mountains, rivers, ponds, and wooded roads. The Kancamagus Highway crosses the northern part of town and provides access to some of the region’s best-known mountain scenery. Albany is also close to Mount Chocorua, one of the most recognisable peaks in New Hampshire.
