Tobermory is a small harbour community at the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario, where Georgian Bay meets Lake Huron. Its location is surrounded by clear freshwater, rugged limestone shoreline, forests, and numerous offshore islands. Tobermory is closely associated with Fathom Five National Marine Park and Bruce Peninsula National Park, which protect distinctive terrestrial and underwater environments around the peninsula.

Morne Rouge Bay is a sheltered beach on Grenada’s southwestern coast, just south of Grand Anse and near the community of Morne Rouge. The bay curves around a small, protected stretch of pale sand, with calm Caribbean water and green hills surrounding the shoreline. Its sheltered position generally produces gentler conditions than Grenada’s more exposed Atlantic coast, making the bay suitable for swimming and paddling.

Agios Nikolaos is a seaside town in eastern Crete, Greece, set around Mirabello Bay and known for its unusual waterfront setting around Lake Voulismeni. The small lagoon lies at the center of the town, surrounded by cafés, tavernas, shops, and narrow streets that rise toward the surrounding hills. The harbor and marina extend the town toward the sea, while beaches and coves are found along the nearby coast.

Landshut has the epithet "the three helmet city", lead back to the coat of arms of the city, which shows three helmets, like they were worn by the city guards in the middle age. The armours, produced by the so-called "plattners", were known and popular far over the frontiers of Landshut, at that time.

Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, showcases the country’s contrasting landscapes and deep-rooted history. Although much of the city was rebuilt after World War II, traces of its Roman and Ottoman past still remain. Visitors can explore the ruins of Doclea, a Roman settlement just outside the city, where surviving columns and mosaics give a glimpse into life nearly two millennia ago.
