Vieques Island is found in the northeastern Caribbean, roughly 8 miles east of the Puerto Rican mainland. Its beaches are commonly acknowledged as some of the Caribbean's best. The Bioluminescent Bay is especially alluring given the undeveloped nature of the island.

Located east of Boise and due north of Salt Lake City, it is one of the larger towns in the state of Idaho.

Gallipoli is a coastal town in Puglia’s Salento peninsula, built around an old city that occupies a limestone island just offshore from the modern mainland. A bridge connects the historic island with the newer part of town, creating a distinctive layout shaped by the sea. The old center contains narrow streets, whitewashed buildings, small squares, churches, and remnants of defensive walls, while the waterfront opens toward the Ionian Sea.

El Salvador's capital and largest city lies in a valley at the foot of the large San Salvador volcano. Shanty towns abound and the streets are lined with people selling everything.

Knoxville sits in the Great Valley of East Tennessee at the headwaters of the Tennessee River, with the Appalachian Mountains rising to the east and southeast. The city combines a historic downtown with riverfront parks, leafy neighborhoods, and easy access to outdoor areas.
