Grand Étang National Park is a protected highland area in central Grenada, surrounding Grand Étang Lake and extending across the island’s forested interior. The park lies within the volcanic mountain landscape of Grenada, where steep slopes, dense rainforest, streams, and misty uplands create conditions that differ from the drier coastal areas

Kootenay National Park occupies 1,406 square kilometres of the Canadian Rockies in southeastern British Columbia, extending from the Continental Divide toward the Columbia Valley. The park is known for its contrasts, with glaciers and alpine terrain giving way to dry grasslands, narrow canyons, and forested valleys. Highway 93 South crosses the park, providing access to many of its landscapes and viewpoints.

There is a whole host of wildlife on Moreton Island which you can see on the numerous beaches, and along the walking and 4WD trails. Many wading birds can be found on the island, in particular between September and April when many birds migrate from other countries. You may also be lucky enough to see Green and Loggerhead Turtles which often nest between November - February.
