Journey through ancient tropical rainforest, rugged gorges and sandy coastlines where the forest meets the sea in Far North Queensland.

North Conway, located in New Hampshire’s Mount Washington Valley, has drawn visitors since the mid-19th century, when artists from the White Mountain School began painting its dramatic landscapes. Today, the area still offers scenic appeal, anchored by the towering presence of Mount Washington, the tallest peak in the northeastern U.S. Historic photographs and lithographs of North Conway hang in galleries downtown, showing just how little the iconic views have changed in over 150 years.

A series of gates surrounds the two centers of ancient, medieval Fez (sometimes spelled Fes). The principal axes link the center to the gates and a street surrounds the heart of the old city. The Kairouan quarter, which is longer, is crossed by an artery. Narrow, tortuous pedestrian streets, covered passages, stairs and numerous dead-ends make up the dense layout with few urban squares.

Edmonton, the capital of Alberta, is a city shaped by the meeting of prairie landscapes and the powerful North Saskatchewan River. With deep Indigenous roots and a history tied to fur trading posts, it has grown into a cultural and political hub of Western Canada.

Davos, located in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, is the highest town in Europe at 1,560 meters above sea level and known for its alpine sports and outdoor activities. In winter, it offers over 300 kilometers of ski slopes shared with neighboring Klosters, along with cross-country trails and Europe’s largest natural ice rink. In summer, the same mountains transform into hiking and mountain biking routes, including the panoramic Jakobshorn and Parsenn areas.
