Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve
Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve spans six distinct sites across south Louisiana, linking wetlands, battlefields, cultural centers, and historic neighborhoods into one broad interpretation of the lower Mississippi River Delta. Its landscape ranges from the swamps and marshes of Barataria Preserve to the urban setting of the French Quarter Visitor Center in New Orleans.
Jena is surrounded by limestone slopes about 400 m high, botanical and geological features ,amongst which are 40 types of orchids. Jena is also famous for the Optical Museum.
Referred to as "Israel's San Francisco" due to its beautiful setting on the slopes of Mount Carmel facing the Mediterranean Sea, there is plenty to do and see in Haifa! Don't miss Bahai Gardens, German Colony, as well as a number of top museums. It is also home to Matam, one of the oldest and largest high-tech parks in the country.
Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, showcases the country’s contrasting landscapes and deep-rooted history. Although much of the city was rebuilt after World War II, traces of its Roman and Ottoman past still remain. Visitors can explore the ruins of Doclea, a Roman settlement just outside the city, where surviving columns and mosaics give a glimpse into life nearly two millennia ago.
