Jena is surrounded by limestone slopes about 400 m high, botanical and geological features ,amongst which are 40 types of orchids. Jena is also famous for the Optical Museum.
Spello sits high on the slopes of Mount Subasio in the heart of Umbria, where visitors step into a place shaped by centuries of history. Each year, Spello’s streets become a living canvas during the Infiorate di Spello, a long-standing celebration tied to Corpus Christi. Residents work through the night before the feast to lay flower petals along the town’s main thoroughfares, creating patterns and images that stretch for over a mile.
Scoresby Sund (Kangertittivaq in Greenlandic), on the eastern coast of Greenland, is the largest and longest fjord system in the world. On the northern side of the fjord's mouth sits Ittoqqortoormiit, the only permanent settlement in the region and home to less than 500 residents. The region is well-known for its Arctic flora and fauna.
