Macao, a Special Administrative Region of China, is known for its distinctive blend of Portuguese and Chinese heritage. Once a Portuguese colony, the city retains historic squares, colonial architecture, and cobblestone streets that contrast with its modern skyline of resorts and entertainment complexes.

Sakkara, located just south of Cairo, is one of Egypt’s most important archaeological sites and the vast necropolis of the ancient capital of Memphis. Stretching over seven kilometers, it served as a burial ground for pharaohs, nobles, and high officials across multiple dynasties.

Located in northwest England, Birmingham has a tremendous history as an industrial city. Close to coal and iron ore supplies, it was here that Bouton and Watt harnessed steam power to run machinery. Khao Yai National Park is one of the most interesting and oldest park in Thailand. It is northeast of the central plain of Thailand, on the rim of the Korat Plateau. More than 800 species of orchids grow there and over 200 species of day moths have been catalogued.

Eugene is home of the University of Oregon. It is a culturally and athletically diverse city. Bicycling magazine rates it as one of the top cycling communities in the country because of its numerous scenic bike baths. The Saturday Market features musical performers, arts and crafts, and fresh produce. Neighboring Springfield is the gateway to the McKenzie River Recreation Area, featuring whitewater rafting and camping.
