One of the "Out Islands" of the Bahamas, Long Island lies at the eastern reaches of the more than 700 islands and cays that make up thisspectacular archipelago. Located on the Tropic of Cancer, approximately 160 miles southeast of Nassau (a one hour flight), it covers nearly 230 square miles and is 70 miles long by five miles at its widest point.

Bolivia's third largest city, it lies high in the valley of Cordillera Oriental. It is an agricultural hub of the country, especially for grains. Founded in 1574 by a conquistador, it is the home of an excellent archeological museum.

Friday Harbor is the principal community and county seat of San Juan County, located on San Juan Island in northwestern Washington. The town overlooks a sheltered harbor and serves as a central gateway to the surrounding San Juan Islands. Its waterfront is lined with marinas, small businesses, restaurants, galleries, and ferry facilities, while residential streets and wooded areas extend beyond the compact downtown.

Barcelona is the capital of Anzoátegui state in northeastern Venezuela, situated a short distance inland from the Caribbean coast and connected closely with neighboring Puerto La Cruz.
