Cap Malheureux is a small coastal village at the northern tip of Mauritius, facing the islands and open waters beyond Grand Baie. It is best known for Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice, a Catholic chapel with a bright red roof that stands beside the shoreline and has become one of northern Mauritius’s most recognizable landmarks.

Petrified Forest National Park stretches across the colorful high desert of northeastern Arizona, where grasslands, mesas, badlands, and ancient fossil deposits form an unusual landscape. The park is best known for its extensive petrified wood, much of it preserved from trees that lived in a river environment more than 200 million years ago.

Landshut has the epithet "the three helmet city", lead back to the coat of arms of the city, which shows three helmets, like they were worn by the city guards in the middle age. The armours, produced by the so-called "plattners", were known and popular far over the frontiers of Landshut, at that time.

Wrexham is the largest town in North Wales, and is a busy shopping centre. The town is well-known for its many markets, including the Butcher's Market, the General Market and the People's Market. The town is also home to a large number of male voice choirs, has a multi-cinema, several nightclubs and many inns and pubs. St Giles's Parish Church is widely regarded as the finest example of Gothic architecture in North Wales. All Saints Church, Gresford, is one of the finest churches in Wales.
