Lewiston and Clarkston are located at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers at an elevation of 738 feet above sea level. The valley is rather narrow with a range of hills to the North sloping abruptly to about 2,000 feet above the valley floor.

Fishguard, a coastal town in north Pembrokeshire, is divided into two parts: Fishguard and Lower Town. Lower Town is a small harbor nestled at the mouth of the River Gwaun, lined with fishing cottages and boats. It has served as a filming location for several productions, including the 1956 movie *Moby Dick* starring Gregory Peck. Visitors can walk the quayside, explore rock pools at low tide, or take boat trips along the Pembrokeshire Coast.

Bel Ombre is a coastal village and rural district on the southwestern side of Mauritius, set between the Indian Ocean and the forested slopes of the Black River Gorges. The area is known for its combination of sugar-growing land, native forest, rivers, and a sheltered lagoon. Much of the surrounding landscape forms part of the wider Bel Ombre estate, where agriculture has gradually been joined by conservation and tourism.
