Baja California Sur is state located in Northwestern Mexico, on the Baja California peninsula. The capital is La Paz. The area is lightly populated. Tourism is the economic mainstay of this region, centered around the beach resort area, Los Cabos. Sport fishing is a major attraction, as well as having some of the best beaches Baja has to offer.

Cradle Mountain, located within the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, is one of Australia's most distinctive landscapes. Towering over Dove Lake, the craggy peak rises to 1,545 meters and is often dusted with snow, even in spring. The mountain and surrounding area are part of Cradle Mountain–Lake St Clair National Park, which was established in 1922 and has since become a cornerstone of Tasmania’s protected wildlands.

Astoria, Oregon is the state's oldest city. Located on the Columbia River near the Pacific Ocean, Astoria is rich in history, including fishing, canning and the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Aegina, one of the Saronic Islands of Greece, is a short ferry ride from Athens yet feels far removed from the capital’s energy. Known since antiquity as a thriving maritime and cultural center, the island still preserves echoes of its past in archaeological sites and traditional villages.

As a UNESCO World Heritage site, Stone Town boasts narrow, winding streets lined with towering stone buildings adorned with beautifully carved wooden doors, reflecting its rich history as a major trading hub.
