Chinchero is a highland town in Peru’s Cusco Region, northwest of the city of Cusco and above the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Set at more than 3,700 meters (12,000 feet) above sea level, it is surrounded by cultivated fields, puna grasslands, and views of the snow-covered peaks of the Cordillera Vilcabamba.

Madikwe Game Reserve is a large protected wildlife area in South Africa’s North West province, close to the Botswana border. Its landscape consists mainly of open grassland, bushveld, rocky hills, and seasonal watercourses, with habitats supporting a wide range of wildlife. The reserve is notable for being one of South Africa’s major conservation areas established on former farmland, with wildlife populations restored through a large-scale relocation programme.

This National Park is located 35km south of Fort Portal and is home to monkeys, chimpanzees, baboons, bushbuck, elephants, birds and many varieties of butterflies. A four wheel drive is recommended.

Liberia, republic in western Africa, bounded on the north by Sierra Leone and Guinea, on the east by Côte d'Ivoire, and on the south and west by the Atlantic Ocean. Liberia has an area of 99,067 sq. km (38,250 sq. mi.). Liberia was founded in the early 1800s by freed American slaves. Monrovia is the capital and largest city.

Pebble Island is one of the larger islands in the northern part of the Falkland Islands, known for its open landscapes, long beaches, rocky shores, and low hills. The island stretches across a varied terrain of grassland, peat, freshwater ponds, and coastal cliffs, with several bays providing sheltered areas for wildlife. A small settlement serves as the island’s main community, while much of the surrounding land remains open and lightly developed.
