Kent is a county in southeastern England, stretching from the edge of Greater London to the English Channel and the Strait of Dover. Its landscape ranges from the chalk cliffs of the coast and the wooded High Weald to orchards, hop gardens, farmland, and river valleys. Canterbury, Dover, Maidstone, and Royal Tunbridge Wells are among its principal towns, while smaller settlements such as Rye Harbour and Broadstairs contribute distinct coastal and rural character.

Ubud lies in the uplands of central Bali and has long been regarded as the island’s cultural and spiritual heart. Historically a center for healing and royal patronage, the town developed around temples, palaces, and traditional villages that supported dance, painting, woodcarving, and ritual life.

Providenciales, often called “Provo,” is the most developed island in the Turks and Caicos archipelago and a gateway to some of the clearest waters in the Caribbean. Its coastline is famous for long stretches of white sand and shallow turquoise seas that seem to shift color with the sun. Grace Bay Beach, the island’s most celebrated shoreline, runs uninterrupted for more than 19 kilometers and is consistently ranked among the best beaches in the world.

In northern Mexico, it is the capital of Chihuahua State and known most for the hairless dogs that bear the same name. Pancho Villa operated out of the surrounding mountains. It is a major mining and cattle raising center. The smelting plant employs many of the citizens.

Famous for its thermal baths and spas, it is said that the town was founded by Hannibal. It was originally called Prusa after Prusias I, king of Bithynia.
