Popoyo is a small coastal community on Nicaragua's southwestern Pacific coast, in the department of Rivas. It is known for its broad sandy shoreline, rocky coastal points, and consistent Pacific surf. The surrounding landscape remains largely rural, with pastureland, farms, tropical vegetation, and small settlements extending inland from the beach.

The Kenai Peninsula extends southwest from Anchorage into the Gulf of Alaska and is one of south-central Alaska’s most varied regions. Communities such as Kenai, Soldotna, Seward, Homer, and Cooper Landing serve different parts of the peninsula, while the Kenai River and numerous smaller waterways connect the interior to the coast.

Amed is a coastal area in eastern Bali, Indonesia, stretching along the northeastern side of Karangasem Regency. The area consists of a series of small fishing villages and bays, including Amed, Jemeluk, Bunutan, and Lipah. Its landscape combines black volcanic beaches, dry hills, rice terraces, coconut palms, and views toward the Bali Sea.
