Baja California Sur is state located in Northwestern Mexico, on the Baja California peninsula. The capital is La Paz. The area is lightly populated. Tourism is the economic mainstay of this region, centered around the beach resort area, Los Cabos. Sport fishing is a major attraction, as well as having some of the best beaches Baja has to offer.

Another must-see is Kicker Rock, a fascinating rock formation that looks like a boot from one angle (hence its English name) and like a sleeping lion from another (thus its Spanish name, Roca León Dormido).

Devil’s Bridge National Park, located on the rugged Atlantic coast of Antigua, is one of the island’s most dramatic natural landmarks. The park is named after its striking limestone arch, carved over centuries by relentless waves and wind.
