A series of gates surrounds the two centers of ancient, medieval Fez (sometimes spelled Fes). The principal axes link the center to the gates and a street surrounds the heart of the old city. The Kairouan quarter, which is longer, is crossed by an artery. Narrow, tortuous pedestrian streets, covered passages, stairs and numerous dead-ends make up the dense layout with few urban squares.

Grampians National Park, known as Gariwerd by the Traditional Owners, is a mountainous landscape in western Victoria defined by sandstone ranges, rocky escarpments, forests, waterfalls, and broad valleys. The park forms part of the Grampians-Gariwerd region and contains some of Victoria’s most extensive areas of protected native habitat.

Located in Nantucket Sound and the Atlantic, it is a small island off Cape Cod. It was a whaling center, but now is popular as a tourist destination and fishing area.
