Kanchanaburi, a province in western Thailand, is best known for its poignant history and lush landscapes. It was here that Allied prisoners of war and Asian laborers were forced to build the infamous Death Railway during World War II, including the Bridge over the River Kwai, which remains a powerful symbol of resilience.

Called "La Metropolis del Sol Naciente" (The City that guards the Sun of the Caribbean), Fajardo was founded in 1772 as Santiago de Fajardo. Fajardo's perfect beaches are bounded by calm, clear water ideal for snorkeling, Seven Seas Beach, offers plentiful water sports facilities, offshore points for sailing, snorkeling and plenty of scuba diving.

Abuja is a planned, modern city and the proposed new federal capital of Nigeria. The site was chosen to replace the capital Lagos because of the central location, easy accessibility, good climate and land for further expansion.

Jena is surrounded by limestone slopes about 400 m high, botanical and geological features ,amongst which are 40 types of orchids. Jena is also famous for the Optical Museum.

Bright is situated in the Ovens Valley and offers beautiful scenery and landscape. There are many ski resorts surround Bright, with Mt Buffalo National Park being the closest. This is obviously one attraction to the area, although Bright offers various activities all year around
