Chamarel is a mountain village in southwestern Mauritius, surrounded by forested slopes, volcanic terrain, and agricultural land. Its elevated position gives the area a cooler, wetter setting than much of the coast, while its location near Black River Gorges National Park places it within one of the island’s main protected landscapes.

A series of gates surrounds the two centers of ancient, medieval Fez (sometimes spelled Fes). The principal axes link the center to the gates and a street surrounds the heart of the old city. The Kairouan quarter, which is longer, is crossed by an artery. Narrow, tortuous pedestrian streets, covered passages, stairs and numerous dead-ends make up the dense layout with few urban squares.

Willemstad, the capital of Curaçao, is unlike any other city in the Caribbean. With its pastel-colored buildings lining the waterfront and a layout shaped by Dutch colonial planning, the city blends European design with Caribbean culture. Its historic center, divided by Sint Anna Bay into Punda and Otrobanda, has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This thriving port city has so much to offer, including several museums, the beautiful historic quarter Porto Antico and La Lanterna. This lighthouse is Genoa's best known landmark and provides stunning views over the port and bay.

Siloli is a remote desert area in southwestern Bolivia, within the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve in the Potosí Department. It forms part of the high-altitude landscapes of the southern Altiplano, where volcanic mountains, dry valleys, and expanses of sand and rock dominate the terrain. The area is known for its exceptionally arid conditions and unusual geological formations.
