Abilene is no-nonsense and traditional, but it's just as capable of having a good time as any rip-roaring cowpoke. When you're in Abilene, take time to see the Abilene Zoo, particularly the Texas Plains exhibit, a unique collection of species native to that part of the country (if you've never seen a javelina, here's your chance).

Bremerhaven, a port city on Germany’s North Sea coast, is known for its maritime heritage, bustling harbor, and cultural attractions. Founded in 1827 to serve as a gateway for Bremen’s shipping industry, it has grown into a major center for trade, logistics, and seafaring culture.

The ancient region of Cappadocia lies in Central Anatolia, between the cities of Nevsehir, Kayseri and Nigde. Here, the traveler finds one of the most fantastic landscapes in the world. Wind and weather have eroded the soft volcanic rock with hundreds of strangely shaped pillars, cones and "fairy chimneys", often very tall, and in every shade from pink through yellow to russet browns.

Katherine, located in the Northern Territory of Australia, is a vibrant outback town that serves as a gateway to some of the region’s most striking natural landscapes. Situated along the Katherine River, the town has historically been a hub for agriculture, cattle farming, and Aboriginal communities, blending modern infrastructure with deep-rooted cultural heritage.

In the newer area you will find excellent hotels, chic shops, and good restaurants. Near the old downtown commercial center, behind the Catedral Metropolitana, and a block off Central Park, the Central Market where everything made or produced in the country is sold.
