Khongoriin Els is one of the largest sand dune systems in Mongolia's Gobi Desert, located within Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park in Ömnögovi Province. The dunes extend across a broad desert landscape between rocky mountains and dry plains, with some ridges rising more than 200 meters above the surrounding ground. Wind continually reshapes the sand, creating long lines and shifting slopes across the desert.

Guanajuato is situated between the dry north of the country and the more verdant south, and geographically belongs to the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt, the Mexican Plateau.

Moraine Lake is a glacial lake in Banff National Park, Alberta, surrounded by the peaks of the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Its turquoise water is fed by glacial meltwater, while dense coniferous forest covers the lower slopes around the shoreline. The lake sits in a high mountain basin reached by a winding road from the Lake Louise area. Its setting within the Canadian Rockies places it among alpine landscapes of steep peaks, glaciers, rock faces, and mountain valleys.

Gulf Shores is a coastal city in southern Alabama, positioned along the Gulf of Mexico and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is known for its broad white-sand beaches, coastal dunes, maritime forests, and access to bays and inland waterways. The city serves as a gateway to Alabama's Gulf Coast, with development concentrated around the beachfront and nearby commercial areas while protected landscapes remain along parts of the shore.

Albany is the oldest European settlement in Western Australia and was a major whaling station, and coal shipping port. There are fantastic views over the town of Albany, and the fantastic coastal scenery from the top of both Mt Clarence and Mt Melville.
