Situated on the shore of Lake Titicaca, Puno is referred to as the folkloric capital of Peru due to its artistic and cultural expressions, particularly dance. Notable landmarks include the Andean baroque-style Puno Cathedral and the Yavari, a 19th-century steamship. Products created from alpaca, llama, or sheep wool are a signature of the area, as well as musical instruments like the siku.

The River Ganges, flowing through India and Bangladesh, supports millions of people living in the river basin. In Hinduism, the river is considered the most sacred, and as a result it is in important element of many Hindu rituals and festivals.
Tenby sits on the Pembrokeshire coast of southwest Wales, where medieval walls still encircle a compact town above the sea. Its history as a fortified port is visible in stone ramparts, narrow lanes, and the ruins of Tenby Castle, which overlook the harbor.
Founded in the 7th century BC, the city of Durres has been conquered by many invading armies. Although most of these left a few traces in the old town of Durres, the main attraction is the excellent beach near the town. Perhaps the most famous of Albanian beaches, it offers shallow waters close to the shore, which makes it very suitable for families and children. Its position in Durres Bay also protects it from winds. Many Albanians from Tirana spend their summer vacations on the beaches of Durrës.
Some important buildings in Durres include the main library, the cultural center with the Aleksander Moisiu theater, the Estrada Theater, the puppet theater, and the philharmonic orchestra. There are also several museums such as the Archaeological Museum and the Museum of History.
