Birmingham
Located in northwest England, Birmingham has a tremendous history as an industrial city. Close to coal and iron ore supplies, it was here that Bouton and Watt harnessed steam power to run machinery. The Museum of Science and Industry resides here and provides an excellent look at England's history.
Ohio
Ohio offers a blend of surprises that range from ancient earthworks to world-class roller coasters. In the southern part of the state, the newly designated Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks tells the story of a sophisticated Native American culture that built massive geometric mounds over 2,000 years ago. Visitors can walk among these quiet, grassy structures and learn how they were used for ceremonies, astronomy, and social gatherings long before European contact.
Perge
Perge holds great historical significance. It was the place where St. Paul told many of his sermons and was orginally settled by the Hittites.
Ben Tre
As the capital of the Ben Tre Province, the city of Ben Tre is located in southern Vietnam on the Mekong Delta. Connected to other provinces by a network of bridges, the town draws less tourist traffic than nearby My Tho and Tra Vinh.
Waterton Lakes National Park
Together with neighboring Glacier National Park in the United States, Waterton Lakes National Park is part of the world's first international Peace Park, which was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1955. The Waterton-Glacier Peace Park protects an important biological crossroads where the Rocky Mountains reach their narrowest width. Waterton's bedrock is much older than that of the mountains to the north found in Jasper and Banff.
