Abha
Abha, the capital of Saudi Arabia’s Asir Province, is a scenic mountain city set nearly 2,200 meters (7,200 feet) above sea level in the Sarawat Mountains. Known for its mild climate, lush green hills, and misty peaks, it stands in striking contrast to the country’s desert landscapes.
Dingboche
Set in a wide valley beneath towering Himalayan peaks, Dingboche offers a striking pause along the route toward Mount Everest. Unlike the narrower trails below, Dingboche opens into a broad landscape framed by snow-covered giants such as Ama Dablam and Lhotse. The village sits high above the tree line, where the air feels thin and clear, and the surrounding terrain shifts from forested slopes to open alpine ground.
Oxford

Huaraz

At more than 3,000 meters above sea level, it is an important regional center and a principal base for exploring the mountains, lakes, and valleys of the surrounding highlands. The city combines a busy central area with traditional neighborhoods, markets, restaurants, and views toward the snow-covered peaks of the Cordillera Blanca.
