Charlestown is the historic capital of Nevis, located on the island’s west coast beside the Caribbean Sea. Dilijan is a town in Armenia's Tavush Province, surrounded by forested mountains, streams, and highland meadows. The town lies within the landscape of Dilijan National Park, where oak, beech, and hornbeam forests cover much of the surrounding hills. Dilijan is also known for its traditional architecture, craft workshops, and location between Lake Sevan and the forested valleys of northeastern Armenia. Its setting has long supported agriculture, forestry, and mineral-water traditions.

A moving sight...literally. Hubbard Glacier's recent nickname "the galloping glacier" refers to its rapid movement through Disenchantment Bay in the direction of the Gulf of Alaska. This tidewater glacier is a natural wonder over 6 miles wide! Those on ships are usually able to get within about a half mile of Hubbard Glacier's face.
