Founded in the 7th century BC, the city of Durres has been conquered by many invading armies. Although most of these left a few traces in the old town of Durres, the main attraction is the excellent beach near the town. Perhaps the most famous of Albanian beaches, it offers shallow waters close to the shore, which makes it very suitable for families and children.

La Trinité is a coastal town on Martinique’s northeastern side, facing the Atlantic Ocean and the large bay of the Baie du Trésor. It serves as the main town of the La Trinité arrondissement and is surrounded by a landscape of sugar-cane fields, tropical vegetation, hills, and coastal wetlands. Founded in 1733 as a free port, the city is now the home to outstanding shopping, casinos, and a variety of hotels and resorts, including nearby Mullet Bay Resort and Golf Club.

Yilan is a city in northeastern Taiwan and the administrative center of Yilan County, set on a broad plain between the Central Mountain Range and the Xueshan Range. The region is known for rice fields, rivers, hot springs, and a humid climate shaped by frequent rainfall. The Lanyang River and its tributaries run through the surrounding countryside, supporting fertile agricultural land.
