El Tunco is a small coastal village in the department of La Libertad, on El Salvador's central Pacific coast. It is named for the distinctive rock formation that sits offshore and is often described as resembling a pig, giving the beach its local name. The shoreline consists of dark volcanic sand, rocky outcrops, and strong Pacific surf, while low hills and tropical vegetation surround the village.

Santa Cruz de La Palma is the capital of the island of La Palma, one of the seven Canary Islands. Fernando de Noronha is a volcanic archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, belonging to the Brazilian state of Pernambuco. The archipelago consists of 21 islands and islets, with only the main island permanently inhabited. Much of the land and surrounding sea is protected through the Fernando de Noronha Marine National Park and the Fernando de Noronha Environmental Protection Area.
