Robben Island lies in Table Bay off the coast of Cape Town and is one of South Africa’s most significant heritage sites. The island is best known for its former prison, where political prisoners opposed to apartheid were held, including Nelson Mandela. Its landscape also contains a lighthouse, historic buildings, military remains, quarries, and areas of natural vegetation.

King Island was discovered in 1798, and was a preferred breeding area for sea elephants and seals. Around the island are many shipwrecks, caused by the rough seas of the Bass Strait.

Anglesey is an island off the northwest coast of Wales with a history that stretches back thousands of years. Fertile lands and strategic coastal position made it an early center for agriculture, livestock, and maritime trade.

Tortuguero, located on Costa Rica’s remote northern Caribbean coast, is a destination unlike any other in the country. Accessible only by boat or small aircraft, this coastal village sits between the Caribbean Sea and a network of freshwater canals. Its name, meaning "place of turtles," comes from the thousands of sea turtles that arrive annually to lay their eggs on its beaches, including green, leatherback, and hawksbill turtles.

One of the world's highest plateaus (approximately 12,000 ft. above sea level). Home to the Potala Palace, former living quarters of the Dalai Lama. Visit one of Tibet's holiest shrines, the revered 7th century Jokhang Temple, where pilgrims come to prostrate themselves before the statue of the Sakyamuni Buddha, lavishly enthroned in silver and gold.
