Dakhla is a coastal city in Morocco’s far southwest, situated on a narrow peninsula that extends into a large Atlantic lagoon. Dakhla is an important regional centre for fishing, commerce, and transport, while its lagoon has made the city increasingly known for water sports.
Kristiansund is a town facing the North Atlantic, on the west coast of Norway. Both its history and geographical position are unique. It is not a big town and does not have a large population, but the friendly attitude of the people who live here and their way of life, makes it a town with a big heart. Its business centre is close to green parks and small forests. The beautiful view of the surrounding mountains completes the picture.
Rising along the border of Nepal and Tibet, Mount Everest stands as the highest point on Earth, reaching over 29,000 feet into the sky. Known locally as Sagarmatha, meaning “Peak of Heaven,” and Chomolungma, meaning “Goddess Mother of the World,” the mountain carries deep spiritual meaning for the communities that live in its shadow. Its summit sits in air so thin that oxygen levels are only a fraction of what travelers experience at sea level.
Nestled in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, Braemar is a charming Highland village that captures the rugged spirit and natural grandeur of Scotland. Surrounded by heather-covered hills, ancient forests, and rushing rivers, it has long served as a gateway to Royal Deeside and a favored retreat of the British royal family.
Outjo is a small town in Namibia’s Kunene Region and an important stop on the route toward Etosha National Park and the dry landscapes of Damaraland. It sits among low hills and open bushveld, with the town serving as a practical center for travelers, local residents, and nearby farming communities. Its location makes it a useful base for exploring the southern part of Etosha, while roads from Outjo also lead toward Khorixas and Kamanjab.
