Nelson is a small city in southeastern British Columbia, set along the West Arm of Kootenay Lake and surrounded by the Selkirk Mountains. Steep hills rise around the city, giving many streets views toward the lake and forested slopes. Nelson is known for its well-preserved historic downtown, heritage buildings, independent shops, galleries, and access to outdoor recreation.

Durban is a big subtropical city in the north-eastern province of KwaZulu/Natal. It has been a major port since the 1850s and is home to the largest concentration of Indian-descended people in the country - Mohandas Gandhi arrived here as an indentured labourer in 1893. Qingdao, also Tsingtao or Ch'ing-tao, Shandong Province, eastern China. It is a major naval base, an industrial center, and a port on the Yellow Sea at the entrance to sheltered Jiaozhou Bay. The port, which rarely freezes over, serves the industrialized northern China Plain and was expanded in 1976 to include an oil terminal for large tankers on Huang Island. The leading manufactures of the city include textiles, railroad equipment, rubber goods, fertilizer, and chemicals.
