Crazy Horse Memorial stands in the Black Hills of South Dakota, between Custer and Hill City, where a massive mountain carving is being created to honor the Lakota leader Crazy Horse and the cultures of Native American peoples. The sculpture is cut directly into Thunderhead Mountain and is designed to depict Crazy Horse on horseback, pointing toward his ancestral lands

Baruunbüren is a small town in northern Mongolia, set within the forest-steppe landscapes of Selenge Province near the Russian border.

Dinosaur Provincial Park lies in the badlands of southeastern Alberta, along the Red Deer River. The park is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for both its geological landscape and its exceptional fossil record. Its dry valleys, eroded cliffs, hoodoos, and exposed rock layers reveal sediments from the Late Cretaceous period, when the region supported a very different ecosystem.

Llandudno has two beaches on either side of the town. The quieter West Shore with it's sandy beach has a view of the Conwy Estuary, Isle of Anglesy and Puffin Island, site of a Cistercian monastery. Spanning over two miles of the crescent bay is the North Shore. On the pier there are places of amusement including Professor Peabody's Playplace containing supervised activities for the children. On the opposite side is Craig-Y-Don, a paddling pool for the toddlers.

Montenegro, set along the Adriatic Sea, draws travelers with its dramatic landscapes and layered history.
